This unit automatically detects the input source resolution. All the output resolution and refresh rate can be selected via the push buttons on the box from the menu screen on the display via the push buttons on the box.

Input Connection This unit can accept both VGA and HDTV component video inputs. When accepting a VGA input, use the 15-pin D-sub VGA cable to connect from the output of a VGA device to the input of the unit. When accepting a Component Video input from HDTV source, use the Component Video 3 RCA to HD-15 pin VGA adapter cable to connect from the output of the HDTV source to the input of this converter first. And this converter will automatically detect the input video mode and resolution from your VGA or HD source.

Output connection This unit can output a variety of progressive scan and HDTV resolution. When one of the RGBHV resolution is selected for output, use the 15-pin D-Sub VGA cable to connect the output of this converter to the VGA input of any of your display monitor. When one of the HDTV resolution is selected as output, use the Component Video 3 RCA to VGA adapter cable for connecting the output of this converter to the Component Video input of your digital display.
